Hemi assembly date and installation date

In a 66 or 67 Hemi car what would be the time between engine assembly date on pad and the build date of the car. What is acceptable? I know Mopar did some crazy stuff.

Mine block cast 1/19/66 assembly date 2/21/66 car scheduled build date 3/8/66. These are approximately, cast date +/- couple days, assembly date could 2/14 to 2/21. Scheduled build is exact. If you need exact dates can do that. Have another block cast couple of days later and wasn't assembled until March.

Another thing, to my understanding no Hemi blocks were cast in 1967.

Possibly correct, they made changes to the main caps. Because of hi failures in the nodular caps.

You are correct, no Hemi blocks were cast in 1967. I am curious about assembly of engine and installation. Could several months go by?

When I go to garage I'll check assembly date on second engine. Cast Jan 66 believe assembled in early March. Car in was in was left on Mass Pike in the early 70's when lower control arm broke. That's what the owner said it had a 383 then.
