Could someone talk me thru pro/cons lndy legend426-eddy Hemi heads on 430cube in3100lb abody for drag application.12.5tol 670 lift flat tappet

For that application I think you’d be better off with the Indy 426SR head.

With a decent prep and some bowl work, that would make a nice combo.

The Victor heads are really better suited towards bigger cube, larger bore combinations.

The Edelbrock made MP Hemi heads are nice pieces that would also work well for the OP, although I’m not sure they’re still available.

why not use the Edelbrock Hemi heads ?
PRH is correct. Here’s a 430 cube hemi with the Victor head. I think the Eddy MP head or SR head would have been a better combo.

I have out of the box Mopar Performance (Edelbrock) Hemi heads on my 528" and they worked great.

Doing a little digging, seems the MP hemi head part numbers are not dead.

Jegs shows bare heads in stock(P5153779), and a ship date of 12/11 for the assembled heads(P5153875).
