Hemi Heat Tubes- painted or not painted?

I have seen different versions of the heat tube finish on 66-67 Hemi's: both are not painted or the outlet tube is bare and the inlet tube is painted or both painted, see photos. Also, the exhaust header is usually cast iron grey but I have seen some that are painted black, again see the photo.

I took the photos from YouTube Nick Garage in Canada,

Anybody know which way it was finished from the factory?

Oem.
The one connected to exhaust manifold is engine color.

The other / outlet is bare steel

I wish I was that lucky to have that problem.....
