In a 69 RR Is the factory aluminum intake suppose to be orange? I believe so. Mine is raw aluminum. I’m going to be painting the heads may paint the intake is well. Not sure why the heads were never painted.

Very Nice looking engine, but not factory stock by any means. It appears the block is the only orange painted component ? The coloring must have been the builders choice...

Yes - orange intake, heads, block, water pump, etc...

have cuda chick orange the whole mess....I like the valve covers, it would be ashame to get rid of them

This is a 1970 SuperBird hemi for the Moonshine Speed Shop and the only pic of the intake I did on my phone.

Here is another for a better shot of the color in sunlight versus shop lights.

Even if you don't go with orange, please protect it with something. Intakes are beautiful out of the box but they quickly get dingy, splotchy and discolored.

Even though mine is more race than stock it is still a street strip car, but I still wanted a so called stock look. Which is why I went with everything orange as stock and black on all of the AN Fittings and hoses.
