Hockey sticks back from chrome shop

I had dropped a set off a few months ago. They were in really bad shape with pits and the finish was in terrible shape.
the other set is off the hood I recently purchased.

Those look really nice, both actually! I think they are supposed to have a texture to them and were not shiny chrome.

Does anyone have a good close up picture if what they should look like?

I had to get those refinished due to the finish and was full of pit and blisters.
I can always dull them up with a scotch brite.

The newer set do have some scratches on then I might see what the buffing wheel will do to them befoe I go resort to replating them.

The power bulge hockey stick inserts are a non-polished matte finish with flat black painted indents. The surface should not be smooth or shiney. I took a look at your pictures of the refinished inserts and think they look great chromed! I'm also in the market for a decent pair of inserts for my bulge hood.
