I have converted my 70 charger into a 69 and am having problems with the hood signals. I have eliminated the side marker on both the front and back and have the changed the 70 signals to 69 in the hood. I had to splice the wires as they were different connectors but they will now not work. Is there a direct correlation of the side marker lights to the hood lights? What else should I look at?

Thanks

hood lights work only when turn signals are on...get power from wires running to front turn signal lights

that's because you don't have the hood signal wires connected to the front turn wires....or you have a bad ground on the hood turn signal housing

see reply #2

I'm guessing bad ground at the lights or hood to body.
