I have a 6 y/o boy that live next to me I buy him Hot-Wheels
& tracks stuff, carry case, etc. every B-day or Christmas or Easter
I can go over & race "or play with them anytime", still
too
I bought him some cheapo drag race track set up from Tractor Supply
spring loaded, that pushes the cars out, gate at the end that drops down
& a winner flag to show who wins, it wasn't Hot Wheels, it was some other
obscure brand, but still fun as hell too
best $10 I ever spent, he plays drag racing every chance he gets...
He'll be a car nut/gearhead for sure...
His dad & his older sister 9-10 get down & play too...

I use to paint up my Hot Wheels as a kid
I gave them all away, to my nephew some almost 40 years ago now...
I do have a few bigger die-casts, not Hot-Wheels F/C's & Dragsters,
but they are mostly stored in org. boxes
in my closet, not out on display, I use to have them on display in my old house
I do still have a Hot Wheels Oakland Raiders collector semi truck & trailer set,
I'll have to pull out...
I'm like kid in the check out isles of the grocery store,
I buy a Hot Wheels on impulse, for kid gifts a lot...
I should start my own collection...
