life is good, I just sold a Hot Wheels brown custom Charger car to a gentleman in the US for $12,000. I'm glad I didn't destroy or give away my Hot wheel cars from my childhood years. My dad would go to the US for business and he would always bring me 2 of the same kind Hot Wheels toy each time he went. One to play with and one for the display on my bedroom wall. I would never would guess theses toys would be worth that much!!

if you have more. Do your research prior to selling. Colors. , us versions are some times better. , some were store displays. Some were just limited at the time.

the custom brown charger is a very rare Hot Wheels car, you could get the Charger in other colors to.

Oh I know. Ive collected these since day one. I even managed to get two of the very first ones from a designer engineers estate I am part of a redline group. And monies no object for Rare cars. As long as there legit and not toned.

it was still in the packaging, I guess that had something to do with the price I got.

No. Thats the going price for a Brown Charger. They are pretty Rare. Alot of folks mistake a badly toned orange for brown. But yours looked good.
Brown woodies, rear loader beach bombs and Brown Chargers are the Holy grails of redlines. You did well.

I sold these two to Mike a few years ago. Bruce pascal wanted these. But Mike ended up with these two. They may look rough. But these would be the designers cut on what Hot wheels would produce.

Then I have to wonder how much my Hot Wheels Club Member Boss Hoss Mustang with the little button is worth? Never run or came out of the sponge bag that it came in until it dry rotted.

They are worth some bucks. I have the chrome Boss Hoss mustang and chrome King Cuda. Still looking for the Chrome Heavy Chevy camaro to have all 3 of the early club member cars. I never miss out on garage sales and still dig through bowls of hot wheels cars. I found a blue custom nomad, purple silhouette, and blue custom corvette one time. Payed .50 cents each for em lol. I have an older copy of "Tomarts price guide to hot wheels cars" the pink rear loader beach bomb is worth some serious cash. Only one in existence. All rear loader beach bombs are worth big dollars. There is a hot wheels parts store online that has replacement parts like wheels, wings, glass, surfboards, as well as all the spectraflame colors for airbrush for people who restore them. If your into serious collecting, beware. People do restore these and paint them in some of the more rare variations creating fakes of sorts.

If that Charger is red in good shape $125-150 if its orange $200-400 condition is everything and knowing how to grade a car is important. For example a car in C7 condition can be $50 where are a C9.5 can be $500. Take more pictures and I can give you a better estimate.

I started to sell my collection after Covid started. I've sold 52 cars still in the packaging for some serious US $$$. The Charger was the last one that I had kept. Finally decide to sell it and we agreed on a price we both could live with and it was shipped to him after payment. I'm finding that people have more money to spend since Covid hit, especially for toys they want.

I gave my played with Hot wheels and tracks to my nephews a couple of years ago. Most of them where pretty worn from playing. It's great to see them still in use today after being in collector boxes, they love making the cars do loops and jumps and racing them. I've trucked these cars around with me for 41 years since I left my parent's house and got married. I'm very thankful for doing it!!!! I forgot to mention the boys have a used Brown Charger in there Hot Wheels toy box and it's one of there favorites.
