Does the tool come in from the window side? Is that took to compress the clips together to release the chrome?Trim clips hold that in. You need a special tool to release the clips.
Thanks I think the lower piece is some how glued in as its hard as a rock. Was able to remove the upper pieces no problem. Looks like I have some delicate surgery a head.View attachment 934134 Lisle 35200....it fits between the glass and the chrome trim. I just did re-sealed my windshield and rear window. Worked great.

So does this get under the glass? I cleared out the sides but I bet its sitting on or pressed into some of that butyl.
