Removing all my chrome and am wondering if bubba glued this in as I cannot seem to work it loose. Rear window lower frame 1970 Satellite.

Trim clips hold that in. You need a special tool to release the clips.
Does the tool come in from the window side? Is that took to compress the clips together to release the chrome?

Lisle 35200....it fits between the glass and the chrome trim. I just did re-sealed my windshield and rear window. Worked great.

Thanks I think the lower piece is some how glued in as its hard as a rock. Was able to remove the upper pieces no problem. Looks like I have some delicate surgery a head.

Got it. The chrome was factory installed probably when the window sealant was wet and therefore glued down as well as clipped in. Using a dental pick and small pry tool I was able to ease it out. Not easy but intact no scrapes or warping the chrome. 50 years of crud glue dirt and weather....

The chrome was embedded between the clip and the window glue.

Four hrs into this. Rear window ready to be removed. Any helpful tips? Can I do this myself or am I insane?

So does this get under the glass? I cleared out the sides but I bet its sitting on or pressed into some of that butyl.
The blade gets stuck through the butyl and the handle with the cable gets pulled along the edge, pulling the blade under the the butyl.

Under the glass as opposed to along side it I got it. I’ll look for one online.
