How much is this old Holley worth?

It’s a Holley Dominator 1050. Has been rebuilt with less than 10 miles on it. Comes with box of extra parts. I was told this may have been a NASCAR carb. Was purchased in the 70’s. I went EFI and was looking for a fair price for it. Only numbers on it are: 86490 on one side, and 12R-4325B. Thanks

Is the list #4575? If so probably 400-500 ball park.

The stamped 86490 should be the "list" number which is Holley logo for identification.
 
It has to be 45_ _

I've got a 14 page listing of holley carb numbers, with thousands of list numbers, but I can't find that one.
I think it probably should have had it stamped into the pad on the throttle side, just below the airhorn. (just a guess)
I am interested in your carb, and local.
 
The only dominator that I know of that used a manual choke ( yours has the holes for the shaft) was the 70 Boss 429 carb.
 
If that is a boss 429 carb,,it's worth a lot more to a Ford guy, than me. Too bad the choke is gone. (Funny thing to say about a dominator.)
It does look like the ones I saw on Google. Prices varied from $1600-3200. If you want that kind of money, you will need the choke plates. You will also need a way to prove it is a 4575.
 
I need to slow down on reading speed. Completely went right passed the part when you said you've had it since the 70's. Hopefully for you its one of the Boss units. CHACHING!!!
 
I looked all over this carb, and it does not have any other numbers stamped on it. I’ve only had the car for 6 months, but a friend has had it since 1974. Original owner had it till 1972, before he was murdered. Anyone know of any Holley experts I can send pics to, to confirm it’s authenticity? Thanks
 
It’s a 4575, buddy bought one last year for around $300. It was in great shape. I just updated and modified it a bit. Works well. Holley sold them, they aren't necessarily “Boss carbs”. Yours isn’t untouched, someone modified it for screw in bleeds so it’s not exactly original. It’s also been modified for 4 corner idle or the later ones had it. The one I did was still 2 corner and I converted it. I also don’t think yours ever had a choke, it’s got the cable hole plugged and it’s missing the dowel on the side of the stack. I think the stacks can bring pretty good coin.

I think I have the original parts that were replaced in the box. It was freshened up to work on a blown hemi from “The Blower Shop.” Replaced with the Holley Sniper 4500 EFI.

If that carb has been with the car since 72' you may want to keep them together, cool history.

After reading through this, is it possible I have one of the original 50 dominators Ford commissioned from Holley? Since this one has no list number on the throttle body. It said after Ford couldn’t use the 4500 anymore, the tooling was turned over to Holley to market it as they wanted, hence adding the list number. The “86490” and stamped “p” and backwards “C” on it doesn’t match up with any other Boss carbs I have looked at. Just throwing an idea out there. Probably no way to prove it though.
