Been wanting this particular car most of my life. Grew up with it, and now I finally own it. It's pretty rough right now.
I've been on FABO for years, and stopped in FBBO over the years, but probably a new guy to a lot of you.

The car is a 67 GTX with 4spd, console, and Dana 60. I also own a 71 Duster with 360 4spd, and a 72 Duster with a 410 and 727. Just bought the 71 a couple of months ago, and inherited the 67 yesterday, so I have a lot of learning to do on B bodies, 4 speeds, and big blocks. Just wanted to say hi, I will be around more now. I also wanted to see if there are any good sources for 67 sheetmetal, or other parts from anyone in or near central Texas on here.

Thanks!

Welcome from NW CT. You must know the routine here since you showed us pics on your first post. Great car man - I've always wanted one of them as well. Good luck with it and please keep us posted on your progress...

Glad to have you with us. You got some work to do to make that baby BAD!:welcome:from Ky.

welcome to FBBO

Welcome from Alabama. 67 B bodies are my favorite. My first new car was a 67 B body. 383-4, 4-speed to be exact. Sheet metal is tough to get, but well worth the trouble in my mind.

Howdy and Welcome from Connecticut!:welcome:. Best of luck with the restoration. Please keep us updated on the progress.

It will be slow due to money. Might have to let my 71 Duster go, but really don't want to.
The 72 is not going anywhere.

Welcome aboard from Ohio, nice buy. Looking forward to update whenever (my ‘68 sat for 20+)until I got close to retirement!

Welcome from North Carolina. Best of luck with the GTX. A 4 speed, that's awesome.

Some of you that have been around a while may recognise this car from my Mom's posts about them starting back in 2015.

At some point maybe I'll tell my part of the story. The car was one of two that belonged to my Uncle, who was also my best friend. He died here in Texas while living with me. My Mom and Stepfather brought the cars back from Georgia after that. My Stepfather started trying to restore both, but he passed away last Monday night, so now this car has been passed down to me, as well as the duty of helping my Mom get hers back together. Though I have known these two cars all my life, and have other Mopars, I will need a lot of help and questions answered to make that all happen. If the crowd here is anything like FABO, I have no doubt I will get there eventually.
