Hey all - Happy to be here! I grew up around B-Bodies my whole life. Here's my dad's "triplets" for your entertainment. Here's a quick breakdown: 2-Door: 68 R/T - HEMI 4-spd - Bought in 2015 4-Door: 68 440 Sedan - 318, 3 on the tree Convertible: 68 R/T - 440 4-spd - Dad bought this in 1972. It's the "baby" of the family. I've only been able to drive it within the last few years, and I'm 33!
Welcome from Illinois JimmyD!! That is a beautiful trio of Mopars. Post some close-up pix of them if you will.
Here's a few pics of the girls. About 5 years ago, I had a 1/24th scale model commissioned for my dad. Attached a few pics of that - they even recreated his keychain!. Also - a good friend of mine sent me the collage pic below - for many years, the only time I was able to drive the "baby" (the 'Vert) - was during my home town's parade. (Because I couldn't go faster than 10 mph )
Welcome from NY. Wow never seen a collection of 68's like that. I have 2 66's but one's a Dodge and one is a Plymouth. And oddly enough they are different colors as well.
Welcome to FBBO from Ontario, Jimmy. That is a fine collection of '68 Coronet's your family has. It doesn't look like you are going to have to do much parts searching.
Nice! I see your addicted like me. I wish my '69 Coronets were in the great shape your '68 Coronets are. Have: '69 Coronet R/T Convertible. Originally B5 Blue, 440 4-speed. Bought with a different drivetrain, and now has a 505" stroker 440 and 5-speed OD trans. A '69 Coronet R/T Hardtop. This one is pretty rough condition. Again, did not have original drivetrain when I bought it. Likely to get a GEN 3 Hemi Swap. Then the '69 Coronet 500 (model) Hardtop. Just a 318 car, but in pretty good condition. Might put a 360 and 518 trans in it? Also have the '71 Charger 500, and a '73 Jensen Interceptor.
Welcome from Fredericksburg, VA. Beautiful cars! Looks like blue is a popular color in the household.
