Hub cap adapters?

i know this works. don't think i'd trust silcone.

on my 65 sat. wheels (police style) had no cap tabs I welded 4 spots on each wheel to hold the cap. tap them on with a rubber hammer see prev. posts painted them and they work and look great. removable and a cheep fix.

Saw those when I adapted my wheels but was leery of the silicone w/ the wheels getting hot under braking. I ended up using screws, see post 26 in link. This was very easy, cheap, & also light weight, it worked perfectly.
