I just recieved my Hughes solid flat tappet lifters. They are the custom "cool faced" oil through lifters. They have a passage leading to the lifter face allowing oil to get to the cam lobe directly. I'm hoping they aid in preventing pre-mature cam/lifter wear.
Has anyone else tried them in your engine yet? If so, what do you think of them?
I got my new 4130 chromeolly custom length pushrods today too! Just waiting on the rocker assy's to arrive and the ARP head bolt set.
Engine is just about finished!!! Woo Hoo..

Thought I'd bump this for ya with a question: have you fired it up and if so,are you pleased with these? I've heard good stuff about Hughes cams, and am curious about the rest of the kit.
