How have people done this in the past? I have a '62 Dart with a 440 and Tremec with hydraulic throwout bearing. I need a 3/4" master cylinder according to what I have read. Any ideas of what one to use or where to mount it would help. I have hydroboost brakes so the firewall is tight. I was thinking some sort of vertical cylinder with a remote reservoir.

Try looking at Speedway Motors. They have all kinds of products for this, including a 3/4 inch master from Wilwood. I think there's a pivoting mount that puts the master where the old style pedal rod used to come through the firewall, so it would be well under the hydrobooster.

I installed a hyd clutch in my Charger and like mentioned it mounts where the original clutch linkage was. I used a remote reservoir and bolted it on the inside of the brake booster bracket to keep it somewhat out of sight. My tranny was a Viper T56 so I used a larger Wildwood master cylinder, you can see it all on my thread (Viper t56 install). Good luck
