I was humbled at our Saskatchewan Mopar Cub Annual Show in August,
It was our 25th Anniversary, but only 24th show because of covid. I have been a member since inception. Was in on the planning. Never had the desire to be on the executive, but was asked.
At the show I was one of two to get the first Legacy Awards. Chuck certainly deserved more than myself.
I am including the pictures of the award, which was made by Chuck. In fact this award was given to all winners of the different classes. Chuck made them all.
The first picture is Chuck’s 71, I helped him find the original owner through my cousin’s wife who is not a car person but lives in the area where the car was sold.
Pictures 2 and 3 show the front and case open.
Last picture is the curmudgeon who is still working on his car.
The guy standing is the President. Ran across him when I saw this quite nice green 67 383 Coronet 500 at an adult video store about 1994. Had to go in to see who owned it. Turned out to be Scott who worked there. We became friends. Travelled to Calgary Alta and Edmonton Alta car shows in 1996. His hair hasn’t changed in length.
Enough rambling for now.
Beware there will be more.

UPDATE! MISTAKE.
I didn’t see it, but Garry Hassel got the other Legendary award.
He has been the treasurer for 25 years. I didn’t see that award being given to him. Chuck is on the right in the picture, Garry on the left. Chuck has also been giving and helping since the beginning.
