I hate snow

Shit No One Wants

I used to love the snow
I didn't have to live in it
for 2/3rd of my life
(Ignore most the date stamps)
various photos of different snows
we get plenty

older I get the less I like the DEVIL's DANDRUFF or the cold period

it's just a dusting here, if less than a foot...

it's fun to play in, ski or sled or even quads & 4x4s
but after that;
it just sucks *** & ruins everything

as much as we need it, it's a PITFA

Just enough to make a mess. Two hours of shoveling by hand because it was too wet underneath for the snow blower. Was out of electric from 10am till 6:30pm. Didn't get a second cup of coffee or breakfast because of the outage. Had to eat cold pizza for lunch. Couldn't work in the shop. House became pretty cold. And people like this weather?

Today...

Here near San Jose it's precipitated maybe 10 days out of the past 11 months, and the high has been less than 60 for maybe 2 of those weeks. Having grown up in the "lake-effect snow" hellhole that is upstate NY, I can only say good riddance. Sadly I can't check "dying of thirst due to 100,000-year drought" off the list yet.

Most of you guys do not even know what real snow looks like. We have a moderate year. 178 inches so far. Couple weeks back we had about 36 inches dumped in two days. Some years we hit the 300 inch mark. Normal for us is in the 200 to 250 inches.
I really hope to get up there next winter to do some snowmobilng!

Yesterday 50 and sunshine, today 9" of snow.
I feel like this.

20" just south of Green Bay

They predicted 2" - 3"

The last month with snow definitely made up for January

Another storm possible next week

Great! We drove north of Portage today, interstate was shut down at 16 in Portage, other side had no snow at all.

Being from Western NY, I grew up eating that craps yearly. I've been in Ft Myers, FL for the past 7 weeks, restoring my Wife's retirement getaway, that was trashed in Sept, Hurricane Ian. It hasn't rained here, since I arrived, comparing that to back home, where we seldom see the Sun this time of year. The downside was the high temps, and humidity, but "I don't need no stinkin' air"!!! Heading back North next week, and looking forward to some "cooler" temps. This was my working environment most afternoons...

I was grilling some hamburgers just now and it's snowing.
Ready for warm but I like it all.

We are deep into spring by 5 days now. LOL
