In the tiny town of Peyton east of Colorado Springs. The guy had some 15-inch steelie from a '76 Mopar. They are 6" wide. Anyway, I'm going to need to know how big of tire size I can put on them and use them on the 70 Coronet.

So he opens his garage/shop and he has this sitting there. He helped a friend in California and ended up with this car. I think it's a 340 and he said its best was 12's.

I installed 215/70 and they look very original and don't bulge out, depending on the brand. I use bf goodrich. and the car drives like a dream.(68 charger)

The factory put G70x15s on 15x6 on 69 roadrunner, and I think that is now a 225/70x15. I have run 235/60x15 on my 15x6.... but that is probably too big.

I never saw G70-15 tires on a 69 roadrunner. F70-15 yes, but only on Hemi or six barrel cars. plus, to me a 225-70 15 is way to doughnutty for a 15x6. You could buy them, But Chrysler didn't put them on a B Body. Please keep in mind I am old school, and I drove the cars when new. I have 225/75x15 on my Cordoba with 6.5x 15, and they even look to too big. now my 15x7 x15 chrysler wheels with 225/70 fit well. if you didn't grow up with bias ply tires, you can't picture how the car sat, and drove. bias ply tires did not squat, and were squarish when they set on the ground.
my view is based on driving and owning these car brand new,, so that is how my cars are set up today.

F70 x15s on 69 Hemi b-bodies, the A12 Sixpack 69s used G70x15.(Goodyear redlines, ONLY!) Every other 69 b-body used 14s.
