First thing I thought of, too - Jeremy Clarkson mercilessly rolling a Reliant Robin, over and over...
and then British "celebrities" showing up to help him get righted again. :-)
 
They had a similar outcome back in the early '80s when they had the Renault Cup at Watkins Glen. Half the field wiped out at the end of the back straight...on the first lap !
 
You can't win the race in turn one on lap one.
Seems like every dirt track race I have been to-and it's a lot- there is always a pileup sometime during every race in turn one after a start.
 
Just read that the Reliant Robin rollovers were "staged" using a modified vehicle set-up to roll over easily. Thank God production cars were more stable.
