Hello just purchased a Edelbrock intake the performer 440 duel plain any thought on this intake going on 440 10.3 compression Edelbrock Estreet heads Edelbrock 850 carb and whats with the 2 holes under the carb for?

Emissions, the non-EGR version does not have them.

I have the same intake on my 440.
Use the pipe plugs on the outer holes.

They are claimed to flow a little better than a stock cast intake plus less weight.
Pretty good intake I think for a mild 440 like mine.

Did you get the performer, or performer RPM manifold? Speaking from personal experience, the performer manifold is worse than the stock cast iron intake and you will lose power with it. I would switch it for a performer RPM or an old edelbrock CH4B if the RPM is too tall, or works in a higher RPM range than you want...

The old Performer 440 intake (which I think is what the OP actually has) is different from
either of the currently offered Edelbrock intakes, isn't it?
Or is it?
