Interesting Race From 50 Years Ago

Interesting :thankyou:

I also watched the 16 min 1970-71-72 Pro-stock video

Very cool. I was a big Vikings fan in the '70s when we lived in Omaha - and specifically an Alan Page fan. In fact, I wore his #88 as a lineman on our JH football team. He's a very interesting and impressive man. And what a force on the football field!

The 1971 Superbee displayed at the show was not the actual car

Talked with the owner , beautiful car

He had just found out this past Friday morning on what happened with the actual car involved in the race

He was told that Alan Page returned the 1971 Superbee back to White Bear Dodge at the end of summer

Car then was resold to a gentleman who owned it for about a month before his son was driving the 1971 Superbee and was killed hitting a bridge embankment
