I'm looking to replace the seat covers, dash pad and door panels on my 1969 SuperBee. Who makes the best parts? Legendary, OER, PG classics?

Legendary....And you will probably be waiting a while so set your expectations.

^^^ for seat covers yes! Last test run I gave them in 2017 on their upper dash pad, while correct dimensionally and detail wise, had ABSOLUTELY no grain in it and they had ZERO interest in doing anything about same! I got my door panels from PG Classic. Not totally correct, but nice and clean. I wouldn't buy anything from Classics, unless they're the only game in town for the product.

I called Legendary last week ... full payment up front, four MONTHS delivery !!! No thanks. I'm going to give PG a shot - at about 2/3 the price and then a 15% discount if you order covers and foams. Being in the U.S. you would be subject to tariffs though.

Let me know how the parts look when you get them. I'm not waiting 4 months either.

You could always go with PUI. They work for some.

I'll be ordering them in early May - apparently they're a "stocked" item. I'll post some pics.

I was really hoping to get the Legendary "Rallye" units - but I'll be damned if I'm gonna wait 4 months ... just in time for the last cruise of the season !!! Running a business with a continuous four month backlog makes no sense to me !!

I know right, why on earth would it take 4 months? Sorry but there's not that many people wanting to buy seat covers for an old Mopar

But they make covers for EVERYTHING as well as custom interiors. Still, you'd think they'd have a production line of some sort for "original" stuff.

When I had my Bee and GTX seats done, I checked with several upholstery guys. They all had the same question: “ What brand of seat covers are you wanting me to install?” The correct answer was legendary because that’s the only brand they would touch. What does that tell you?? Pay your money and get in line now, or do it later, your choice.

I'm surprised their wait time is as short as 4 months now. I waited almost 7 months. Long enough that I forgot I ordered them.

Mine took about 3 months. I ordered over winter so they’d arrive by early spring.

You were having someone else doing the work and they'd ultimately be responsible for the outcome and therefore would insist on using what is perceived to be the best. Don't get me wrong, I'm not questioning that. However, since I plan on doing the seats myself, delivery is quicker and the price is SIGNIFICANTLY lower, I'm willing to take a change on PG Classics. And for what its worth, when I posted on here about a month ago, there were no negative comments. Then add to the fact my car is NOT a concourse resto so dead nuts perfect isn't important. As long as the stitching is straight and the fit is good I'll be happy. Sorry, Legendary won't be greasing your palm on this sale:)

I see PUI makes their own products and was bought by Classic Industries .

Didn't hear any good things about PUI.
Me neither. Legendary is the best. Regardless of price or wait time. Think of all the different products and colors they produce. I would imagine everything is made to order. They couldn't make ahead and warehouse all the different choices.

So it seems Like Legendary is the best for seat covers. What about dash trims? Looks like PG Classics has a lot of stuff that Legendary doesnt have. The dash pad and dash trims look really good. I think I'm going to order the seat covers from Legendary as I'm in no rush but the other stuff I want right away like the dash pad and trim pieces Im gonna try PG Classics
