I saw this on twitter, maybe dodge might be coming back. They said this motor was for a Canadian NASCAR league. Not sure but just maybe. Anyone else hear anything.

Sergio from FCA said it was, last year, that it'd be this year IIRC
but haven't seen any teams lining up or any new news yet thou...

Was in Daytona for race and spoke with some NC Mopar guys who said Mopar was returning with at least two teams next year...don't know where they got info, they seemed sure ... .. somebody made a remark and then stopped on one of the NASCAR shows recently also

I'd rather watch a dead fake DODGE running in circles than a freaking Toyota , Ford or shevy.
What I really want to see is Roger Penske grab a couple of those "dodges" and stick his boys in em and go win us another championship

I seen the motor at the show, I really hope they do it. I'm surrounded by chebie lovers up here,we could use a boost at the Daytona Party next year, sick of rooting for the driver and not the brand

Bring back the Aero Cars. Buddy Baker broke the 200mph lap average in a steel bodied car w less than 500 hp....todays crap with 800 hp isnt getting it....whats the point?? Nothing remotely related to stock & it isnt as fast.

nascar , a bunch of cookie cutter cars going round a track. I didn't mind it so much when you could tell the difference between car company's but now not so much.

Maybe Richard from Fast N' Loud will sponsor the team! :D

Get you some of that!

If not for seeing brand name stickers on these generic looking melted-soap-bar looking cars, you can't tell the difference from one make to another. It's really unfortunate.

I want to see good ole Stock Car Racing. Bumping, Grinding, flat out to the end..

Canadian Nascar is all short track with a couple road courses tossed in. Mopars never pulled out of the Canadian series. In fact, the number of Mopars is impressive !! There are 14 Dodges, 4 Fords and 2 Chevys in the series. I guess Dodge makes a good short track motor !!

But don't expect those engines to be dropped into an "American" car and be competitive.

like to see the pony cars run in top level BUT as a factory replica, same body shape, no areo advantage unless factory option within limits, any HP the engineers could come up with..limit rear/trans gearing something to get it back to the past when you could catch the leader and pass him.. just can't get into open wheel racing, F1 cars are incredible, but never replace fender to fender competition for me
