Is it always when I don't have enough money, or am I just always broke..?!?!?!? LOL

That car has had 2,500 dollars worth of work done to it already.
Looks like "sound" metal.
Hmm, a good deal.

Yeah, unfortunately I have way too many projects now.
BUT: perhaps I'm never satisfied...?
I'm in denial I suppose.
Again, I have too many projects already.

Aw, you would just get spoiled starting out with a complete car like that.

LOL...Yeah no doubt Rev. What the hell would I do with myself with a halfway decent project like that? Decorate it up in Christmas lights and make it a show piece for conversation..Probably take three times as long to restore than the salvaged titanic that swallowed my billfold and lung capacity last go round.

Ya,but knowing will, he would just take that one apart too.

You're right and don't try to deny it Roger...you're just like me. When you were a kid, most toys were disassembled/dismembered in an orderly fashion, reassembled and displayed as survivors of the Youth Carnage R & D Program. LOL

Since the odds of me owning the car are about the same as Blonde quantum physicist, I guess all I can do is sit back and dream. Maybe years down the road I'll be having that shoulda-woulda-coulda conversation about it while driving my 2023 Escort wagon the the VFW for bingo night.

I'm also the same Ski...too many projects! Just wish more were mopars

Don't know if ever is the right time for money. That looks to be a good deal to me with the work that has already been completed. No drive train is no big deal but it would be a bitch to find all the other parts missing but still worth the asking price. Looks like a good solid body to get someone a nice car. If you could find a donor car for parts then that would be a super deal I think...but what do I know?

Thats better than what I started with by a long shot and for 2500... If I had the cash I would be on it like a hobo on a ham sandwich ( as my good friend Johnny and fellow mopar fan used to say)

Yeah, it would make a nice "Race Car"

LOL
HoBo on a ham sandwich!
too funny!

Would all my running gear transfer from the 70 backwards to it?
Except the sheet metal of course but would the interior and dash stuff (rallye from a 70 rr)
The front clip on my my car and doors and a lot of it is good... has to be worth 2500 at least for all the SS trim and GTX stuff as a parts car?
I could use the suspension and all the stuff I just did to the satty and swap it over? If the deck filler and bacl windoew and all is all metal and ready for blocking and finish work and its all going to swap from my 70 satty backwards I would absolely consider it if I could pre sell my car for parts. fenders doors deck lid SS trim hood isnt the greatest but ... thoughts?

Here's what different between the '69 and '70 99ss
Front clip, but either one will fit on the other.....
Quarter panels, tail panel, trunk lid, but if all swapped-either one will fit on other.
Dash, but either one will fit on other (except 70' has ignition in column)
Each others interior will install in place.....
Suspension, roof, doors, deck filler, glass, brakes, unibody of the car is all the same

Oh good, the low rider front wheels don't come with it. Might be worth considering now.

The price he asks and the shape its in, This would be a start to a good project unless you were in a hurry to have a on the road... Runner now, i agree with super bee,ski He has this amount of money into it already, or whoever started it. If i could, i would.. considering its my favorite car.

I sure would snap it up if I could, but then again..I'm one of those half-nuts guys like you mentioned on another post Ron..lol I just finished up a set of quarters on a '65 GTO but would just kill to tear into another mopar project. On top of this, Jay posted a '69 Charger project just a bit back that is literally like a mile down the road for $3900 and now Roger's bird for $3500..Grrrr!

Right now I look like that spoiled kid in the store with his mom, next to the candy isle; face is all red...arms crossed...crunched up look on his face..won't listen to no one. LOL!
