Is there any difference between 1966 Belvedere/Satellite hood and a 1967 Belvedere/Satellite hood? I thought I read somewhere that there were some differences between the 66 and 67 hoods? If there are differences what are they?

Thank you for any input.

The only physical difference is the understructure. If you are not going to add 67 style hood scoops it won't make any difference.

Factory hood scoops use the round holes in the understructure on a 67 hood.

I have a 66 hood I put an RO scoop on for my 67. The only thing I had an issue w/ was one of the letters that spells ‘plymouth’ across the front had one of its alignment pins in a slightly different position...enough that I had to fill and redrill before I painted it. I think it was the ‘M’.

There are two different pin locations on M's offset pins and straight pins. Don't know when the switch over but been looked for for an NOS off set pins for years. Should have bought one from Len Dawson in the 80's.
