Can someone confirm if this is the right rooster comb for a 69-70 727?

Or if you have a pic of one please post it up.

I’m not positive cause the arm is a little different than mine. I’m not sure what year it is. I’ll try find a vb tomorrow or Friday to compare. Kim

My transmission was rebuilt 16 years ago for drag racing. It has a reverse order gear shifting. I cannot remember gear ratio's. It has a 10" torque converter, and 3500 stall. What is this rooster comb supposed to tell me?

Rooster comb is part of shifter. Helps telling what gear the transmission is in. If the part is in your hand, can be hard to tell how it fits or if you have the wrong part. Reason a picture is worth a 1000 words.

I got bit by this once, if the rooster comb doesn't match the end plate the ball and spring can pop out when shifted to park. Left is 69-70
