hey guys,
Does anyone know if the Pittman arm below is correct for a 69 roadrunner with power steering? It is what Napa has listed, it does fit the spline. But I have a spare steering box which has a different arm. Thanks

At a glance? I don't think it's right. On my '70, I think the pitman arm is "almost" straight & that one has a huge offset to it. Maybe check another parts store?

A quick online search for images came up with these:

62-66 A-body (looks like what you have)

62-69 B-body (looks like a smaller offset & DEFINITELY not flat, so maybe I don't remember too well)

Thanks, I believe you are correct. Funny though that this is the part that comes up under the Napa search. I'm hoping someone could confirm off a bbody , power steering car. Also I never see listings for a difference between manual and power steering

To keep things simple....NO....

Manual and power steering use the same arm.....

The top arm is definatly not a B body piece, B bodies come down from the top into the center link, and pre 73 A bodies come up from the bottom . Manual steering and power steering pitman arms were the same until they increased the spline size on the power boxes. On B bodies it was 1973 I believe.

Yep, so I believe you're correct & it's not a power/manual thing....it's just the wrong pitman arm. Maybe boxed wrong?
I don't have to believe my statement is correct...lol

Who knows what the Chinese do...lol.....
