Is this steering wheel ok?

Hey guys, I have a bit of an ugly gap between my steering wheel & steering column. The wheel seems secure, but this just doesn't look right to me. This is a '69 Road Runner with a stock steering wheel. Am I just missing a trim piece there or something?

Aw, I missed that thread. But I’ve just now posted over there to see if I can get more details on that. Maybe this is a simple fix!

Make sure the steering wheel is on the splines correctly. There is a master spline.
