Ran across this and figured someone might need a set: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1085883808856675 Chuck
I hope that they are not malleable. That would be bad. I’m sure that he’s confused and meant to list them as ductile.
Ran a set of these on a 650 lift roller cam and they stayed adjusted. On the other hand, a buddy was running a 600 lift solid flat tappet with the same Isky rockers and he couldn't keep them adjusted.
The locknuts are better than the interference fit threads on the factory ones when they wear out. Snug up the locknuts and they won't go out of adjustment.
I was referring to the adjust balls being soft metal. Bad batches of those off shore screws where the balls wore down in a matter of a few hundred miles. They were mostly Crane. There’s still some out there in used parts land. I always change the adjuster screws to Smith Brothers
The car wasn't slowing down though.....just doing routine maintenance between races and finding them out of adjustment.
Never saw that on a set of old school Iskys.. The last rockers sold as Isky ductile iron rockers were re-boxed Cranes.... They look completely different than the old School real deal Iskys... Those might have had junk adjusters... But nor these..... Don't know why Isky even did that, cheapened their reputation...
Seller is Joe Balboa that used to be out of NY selling used parts. I think he uses both addresses now. His business used to be called rumblefish or something. Do yourself a favor and alway google any seller’s username + mopar parts Known for selling parts with issues. No one local to him bought from him. He’s used various names and business names over the years Proceed carefully. Get pictures of the inside bottom of each rocker. They wear, score and gouge there often.
