Ok, first past and surprised I've missed this forum for this long.
I have a 66 Charger that now has glass fenders. The old fenders were pretty trashed. One thing that was missed in doing the swap was the need to transfer the mounting brackets for the grill and parking lamps. The fenders are now long gone and I've tried numerous searches and "contact us" for the brackets. I'm wondering if anyone has old fenders with the brackets, or just the brackets, that they would be willing to sell?

    Any help is appreciated,

    Thanks!

    Dave

66 383 Thanks! Nice looking ride in the photo! Fortunately, or unfortunately, I've been in the madness since the end of '90. I rescued a 66 Charger that was going to be scrapped. I pulled it out of a barn with a tick over 35k on it and had it on the road from '93 to '96. It's finally back in paint and I'm SLOWLY working on getting it back together. It's my own fault for the brackets but either need replacements or measurements to make new ones. Just surprised - sort of - that I can't find these anywhere.

Sorry, this is from a different fender. I’ll pull up the parts diagram tomorrow to see if there’s a better diagram. From what I remember from the body parts manual there should be an upper and lower bracket on each fender, correct?

Hopefully this helps. I pulled this out of the 1967_Dart_Coronet_Charger_Service_Manual.
Upper and Lower mounting brackets on left/right side for the upper and lower cross bars.

This is the lower bracket. It bolts to the lower crossbar and fender. The upper bracket is spot welded to the fender.

Thanks, the upper I need isn't the one for the top it's the one outboard of that. Is this bracket directly below the one I show below? It looks like this is where the parking lights mount? It's been far too long this car has been apart...

If you look at the other image I sent and screen shot I redlined, you can see the brackets.

See if this helps for the upper:

I can't believe I can't find these more readily. I would have thought when cars get hit that these would have been a common replacement part. Apparently I'm wrong, again...

I know that bracket now. I think they are hard to find is because when removing the crossbar it's easier to remove the brackets from the fender than the crossbar. The lower brackets I have were all on the crossbar. Give me a few days and I can put a set together.

If you could, that would be awesome. Let me know what you need to get for them if you have a set.
