Just starting a thread on my Hemi Roadrunner I am redoing. Not messing with the body or paint, will be a suspension, braking, engine project. The car is not an original Hemi and I am not concern with keeping it OEM.

Doing
- 17" Year One Rallye's - ordered
- 12" Wilwood discs front/rear - ordered
- Bigger sway bars - ordered
- front suspension rebuild kit - ordered
- Holley Sniper 2x4 efi system - not ordered yet

Probably
- a12 hood but one with hood hinges.

Maybe
- Manual conversion - maybe?? Has a 727 now that is leaking from every possible gasket.

The car paint and body looks fine from 20 feet which has been a problem for me, but I've come to the point where I'm going to modernize the car and drive it. Don't feel like experiencing body shop hell. If I get a door ding "oh well", A big rock chip "no problem", Car accident "that sucks".

Don't hold this against me but I'm really a GM guy but my father in law passed and this was his car and my wife doesn't want to sell it. So I have her approval to do whatever I want to it. I can learn to live with a Hemi Roadrunner, I think... (Heavy sarcasm there.)

Right on, sounds like a good project and an excellent inheritance!
I’d buy the old hood of you sell when you put the 6 pack one on!

chevy guy did you look at this thread, yep thats a HEMI spanking- wwwhat :luvplace: sweet ride and post a pic of your chevy for me please. https://www.forbbodiesonly.com/moparforum/threads/hemi-vs-l88.188105/#post-911492963
Here are some pics of my Chevys. Camaro SS and SS 454 are mostly stock. C10 has a turbo 5.3 running 12lbs of boost/th400 that was running hard until a piston ring land let go. Put down 524hp at the wheels on the dyno. In the process of putting the 5.3 back together.

so the c10 is a sleeper

Got the wheels/tires on. Really happy with the look and fit. Will be coming off because the brakes, control arms, shocks, etc is all in. Rear stance is great, front needs to come down an inch.

Got my c10 all back together so started on the RR. Removed all brakes, hubs, axles, front suspension. First time tearing down a Mopar front end, so different than the GM stuff I typically deal with.

I got the front brakes mocked up. So far impressed with the ease of installation. Still need to mount up the lower control arms but waiting on a couple parts before I can do so. Not sure why the pic rotates 90.

Well it’s all done for now, runs great, stops great, handles nicely. Did everything but A12 hood and tranny conversion.
