Just needs a light buffing......

If you can see that much cancer, imagine all the hidden rust

I've seen far worse for far more too & often...LOL

She's a beauty....doesn't even need paint. Just a minor amount of patina.... You don't want to ruin the character of the car.

I've said many times, these auctions and resto shows have really hurt the collector hobby. Everyone thinks they have a goldmine with (wait for it) " A little work"!!!!
Unbelievable!

But it's an "E"-body! Aren't you supposed to bow before the seller and throw cash at him, just because he has decided to sell this "restoration opportunity" at a crack-sale price? From what little is there, I'd say that 318, auto, the rear axle assembly, glass and taillights are about all there is that is remotely good, just based on the pics.

It's close to me, so I'm considering taking a look at it. I plan on bringing a 5 gallon bucket to carry it home in!! Lol!

Is there such a thing as a "rat muscle car"? If there is, this is a good candidate.

I didnt think it was bad for $4-5K, it comes with a pair of fenders, hood, decklid, and some other tin, buy a pair of 1/4s and worse case a floor, console (probably not in the car), a grill, the car looks to be about all there parts wise, not sure how much is salvageable, but all there is good..

$7500 sounds like a starting point to me, if he would take $4K I would bring a little bag of cash for it.. Rather see it saved than not..

Some times we have to ask ourselves, would I pay $7500 for this if I was going to buy it,there is no way any sound mined person would pay anything close to that price for something that is almost beyond saving. The car shows have made some of us crazy, thinking that any car you find is worth a gold mine no matter what shape it's in. Lets Get REAL.

I like how the open door obscures the view of the rear quarter that's missing...

Let us not forget that it wasn't so long ago that buyers would have been lined up at his door with twice that amount to buy that POS. :) There's just a lot of folks who bought these cars at top-of-the-mark prices and want to get something back, or don't realize the price points for parts cars, which this now is, isn't the same as the ones for project cars, which this was a decade or so ago but not anymore... unless you find one of those Can't Let Go guys who want to save any old Mopar regardless of condition.
