Just when you thought Chargers couldn't go any higher!

So many Chargers. I think we have a problem. Like the high up ones but not like the Dukes of Hazard's. Still looking around for a 69 project so I can Compleat my mopar stable.

I wouldn't want to buy a second generation Charger in the current market! We are priced out of our own hobby!

One of the best things I ever did was get my sawzall out and cut that factory roof off the Charger and make it into a convertible! That thing always leaked! So much more fresh air now than just that stupid factory hole in the roof!

Smiley Cool but -you're not dropped of by Mrs. Landy cool-.jpg

I was dropped off at school In a 70 Charger R/T SE almost every day, does that count? That was our family car from 1970 until I graduated high school in 1982.

Yeah that counts
I drove (bought $350 in summer of 74) my 1st 68 Charger R/T GG1
& black top & guts to HS
(I lived in the sticks) 25 miles each way,
my sophomore thru senior years,
class of '77 Baby

I got in a wreck & had to rebuild the front clip
from a fender bender 'on a cruise night', 1976-ish
L & J street cruise in Sacramento, used to be the place to be
on Fri & Sat nights, down in the valley 70+ miles from home
with a car full of buddies & too busy looking at the ladies...
I got rammed/rear-ended from behind & pushed into
a jacked-up Camaro in front of me...
It took out the;
hood, grill, lights, bumper, rad. & core support
& also rear bumper & trunk lid
(I bought a rear wrecked std 68 318 car for the front clip for $150)
& had that Charger for another 10+ years after HS too
it wasn't #'s matching anymore, was a day 2 car...

I painted it '77 Corvette Bright yellow, about 1981-ish
(huge mistake)
I had many different combos in that car
my 1st stroker motor was in that one, many races, many cruises...
I learned a ton of stuff from that car

1 car I wish I never sold
Sold it to my older cousin Joe, he talked me into it (1986-87-ish)
I had more cars than I needed, I relented, I had seller's remorse instantly...
He totaled it in like 2 weeks' time
I can't get that one back, I was sort of heartbroken...

funny how you can get so attached to a car

my dad has some slides of it, someday I will have some photos made

Old post, I know, but I am excited. FINALLY got a garage big enough to work in!

Just got myself a Christmas Present!
(I had it installed, I am over 60 with back issues. Cost $1K for the install.)

So for those of you with lifts...what's your ceiling (joist) height from the floor? Considering one...but not sure if I have the room to put a car on a car, with a lift between....

I built mine at 12' 4". A Rotary 10000 lb 2 post fits with a flourscent light mounted above it.

I built the building intending to put lifts in it one day,it took 15 years to make it happen. I made the ceilings 12 feet high.
