The one on the left is to remind me what kind of car I have. The one on the right is so I remember the color !!!!!Keys.jpg

I found the key ring I received when I bought a 73 Duster brand new. It has a piece of leather behind a brass Pentastar. It is the kind of key ring that can be put in a mailbox if found and returned to the owner. Somehow I don't think it would make it back to me now if I lost the key ring.

I have a brass Mopar Performance one for my Coronet and a Oval STP one for my 72 Van

First one was one of those K mart Buick shield in plastic and metal with a leather back.

Then a "Forward" Mopar logo I found in a box of junk at school.

After that an 80's R/W/B Mopar DC square porcelain.

For a while I used two M60 machine gun blank rounds pried of a chain of them I got from a bud in the Guard.

Then it was a 16MB stick of 72 pin IBM server RAM that was on the books for $600, but was worth less than the gold on the contacts at the time.

Now it's just a faux caribiner like everyone else, but color coded with the vehicle's paint or trim.

I do own a Lego Luke X wing pilot keychain.

I did go though a brief stint of those quick release things, but had two fail on me at very inopportune times, so I quit using them before strike three.
