Good Afternoon all
Planning on rebuilding my wide mouth calipers for my Superbird. The question I have is would be the best seal kit to use when I rebuild them. Going to sandblast them before rebuilding them.
Any information would be really appreciated

I would go buy a pair from your local Autozone, Advanced Auto or Rockauto and remove the parts off the new units and use them in yours. That's what I did, I have the large mouth calipers on my 70 as well. I think each rebuilt caliper was about 30 bucks a piece. Although the castings changed a bit, but the parts are interchangeable for many years.

I always purchased from Rock Auto without any problems.

Talked to Craig last year. Said he didn’t stock seals for that caliper. Great guy to deal with

Don’t know if I can find them in the = NEW = N.O.S. =
= U.S.A. Made = world === was never asked to investigate……

What I keep in stock is for all the Four (4) Piston Caliper Caliper Kits for :
1966 - 1968 “ C “ Body BUDD Caliper Kits
1966 - 1969 “ B “ Body Kelsey - Hayes / BENDIX Caliper Kits , and
1965 - 1972 “ A “ Body Kelsey - Hayes Caliper Kits

Those are what I traditionally/ regularly get the calls on …..

I looked up a 426 HEMI — and they show nothing….

Of course , current Chineseum can’t officially be 2 3/4 “ —
Because they use the metric system —- it is rubber , so it can be “ close “ ….

I will see if I can get Walter “ U S A made “ where it won’t be “ close “ , it will be “ Perfect “ …..
( If I can find them …. )
