SOLD Late 1965 727 Pushbutton Transmission

I have a Big-Block 727 Pushbutton Trans out of my 64, it is a late 65 slip yoke. I Have the cables and button box too, the cover plate is garbage and it’s missing the “neutral” button, but everything else is fine. I’m going floor shift on a later model trans and just don’t really need it. Probably needs built, the car sat for a long time. May do some horse trading if you have a floor shifter setup. Not really sure what it’s worth, but I won’t turn down any reasonable offers. Located in Abilene, TX 79606

Lefty, it is quite possible you are correct. I assumed it was since it came out of the 64... If enough people concur I will defer to the experts and edit the listing.

if its a 65 cable shift tranny , its 65 only . valve bodies are different from 64 down to the 65 type . even the cables are different . but , that case is a good one , just needs a 64 vb and , 71-76 front pump and input . it has the last year of rear pumps . and two pumps are better then one . using the later input package allows you to get better converters as well as a larger input shaft . just finished one like that for my p/u .
