In adding another wiw thread to the countless other threads, but there is much wiser people here then I.

I’m doing a little garage cleaning, trying to help fund an engine refresh, and after seeing all the stuff I have I’m looking to clean things up. I have a late 67 440 short block that I’m wondering what it’s worth, if it helps the price I can even throw some 452 heads with it if it helps

Please put the dates and codes in print, I can't make them out in the posted pictures.
C 440 or D440?
Is this just the block? or other internals included?

Sorry the pictures are terrible. 10/3/67 cast date

D440, with a Maltese cross if that matters

I probably look like an idiot, and should have waited to post this, I got in a bit of a rush. If I remember right I have all the internals, they’re at my parents house and can’t provide pictures right now. How do I identify the crank?

Thanks 68 engine. It's easy enough to identify the crank if you have both a 440 and 383, otherwise it could become a problem. 68 would be a steel crank, not a cast one. My guess on value with crank, rods, pistons and balancer, and stock bore is 4-6 hundred.

The 383 carries a bore and stroke of 4.25-inch x 3.375-inch.
