I just received my new lightweight starter for my 383 Road Runner. The PN on it is
P4510049. When I went to bench test it, to see if it works before I install it, it just made a click sound but did not work. I used heavy duty jumper cables to test it, connecting ground to the case and the main hot to the large terminal. Then I used a heave duty lead wire to touch 12v to the smaller terminal to energize the relay. There are only two terminals on the starter. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks, RRDon
