Locker for 8.25

i recently put 3.55 gears in my 8.25.. i was debating on putting in a lunchbox locker as it can be installed without pulling carrier again... does anyone run these? how are the street manners? its just a weekend driven car... no track time..

I installed a Powertrax No-slip in our Dakota with 8.25 --about 20 years ago.
IMHO there were no downsides--priced right, easy installation, locked both wheels in a straight line!
Never had a problem with mine--ran it for about 5 years before (regretfully) selling our Dak.

Actually I am planning on installing one in our Cordoba--someday

do they pop around corners or chirp tires?

Mine never chirped the tires when turning--it would make a pop/clunk sound when disengaging--nothing alarming or obnoxious to me--I just knew it was working properly.
