Did your full set sell? I have lens and bezels but not the housing that mounts in the tail light panel. If this other guy don't want them I might be a player.(after all it was his post)

Any chance you would share how you made your housings? I have lens and bezels . Unfortunately I took a bunch of 72 SE tail lights to a swap meet a couple of years ago and my housings somehow wound up in the stuff.

I made rectangular steel housings that the lenses fit in perfectly. I made them two inches deep, and divided them as needed to segregate the individual lights. The lens sets the position of the outer bezels. I drilled holes for the bulbs,and used fender shims to bolt the bulb sockets into the housings. I used silver paint and reflective flashing to help the bulbs reflect like the original housings. I used long screws with nuts and drilled through the housing and bolted the bezels and lenses to the housings. I also drilled the housings to bolt them into the bumper, using whatever size bolts, nuts and washers necessary to properly position the assemblies into the bumper. I ran a bead of silicone around the lens where it meets the housings to keep water out.

The Original poster disappeared and I’m considering parting this full set of taillights to get @Dreamcatcher some housings for his car. Conversation started Don. I know the lenses will sell fine on their own. Would anyone have any immediate interest in the bezels if I part this out for him? They are Very good condition.

I’m going to list a for sale ad for them.

Not at this time. I sold my extra lenses here a few weeks back.
If a deal is reached for the housings, I will list the lenses and bezels for sale together in a separate ad. If no deal is reached, I will reassemble them and make them complete useable units again. Thanks
