Any body have a thought on putting some Lucas in my 66 charger 383?

I use it.

As long as you have conventional oil in it.
Add it warm and run it right away.
Always drain the oil warm/hot as well.
Some caution here:
When I took the pan off my Plymouth that I bought (a fairly new rebuild) I think they used STP or some type of additive.
The bottom 1/4 - 3/8" of an inch had a layer of almost grease from stabilizer or something that dropped out of suspension.
If it covered/blocked the oil pickup it would have been new engine time...

I use it (Lucas oil stablizer) in my portable generator,
seemed to help the oil viscosity,
the mfgr recommends 10/40 no detergent
it seemed (prior) really thin after running for 8+ hrs
running a couple of times a month
have to change the oil often in it only a lil' over a qt
I don't run it in my cars/trucks

But;
I use their (Lucas) Fuel stabilizer & injector cleaner
a few ounces every 8k or so
(every other or so oil change)
in my Dakota SLT 4x4 5.2lt Magnum too
seems to do the trick

If it was a fresh engine it could be moly lube or this assembly grease that some guys use on bearings, looks like white lithium grease if you ask me. But whatever it is, good you got it out of there.

No there was way too much of it.

Lucas OIL not STABILIZER. Two different things.
That said, I see no reason not to use it.
