Been a long time since I posted. My nice nearly perfect car tore apart getting all new pro mod chassis /cage, rack and pinion etc. etc. built stroked hellcat motor done as well as TH400. Lots of new tin work as well as new tubs, seats, repaint after it’s finished. expected to weigh around 2700lbs. Still will be street driven licensed and insured, shooting for mid 8’s. Not going to be done anytime soon, will be a roller by next month.

wow that's gonna' be a beast

Lot of work to be done but slowly coming along. Not actual trans just used for mock up.

what are you hoping to do in the quarters?

Dave’s, should go mid 8’s. I want an 8 second car I could daily drive if I felt like it. Still throwing around the idea of A/C.

Haha, my buddy owns a fabrication shop and builds race cars, he’s Uber talented. He’s helping me A LOT.

Good Lord, 8's AND street friendly?
I can remember when a 13 second street car was a beast....
'course, I'm old. :)

Slow progress, however cage almost finished back half and new rear end will be done next week.

Looks great. What’s you're projected weight?
Doug

Wow, looks like it’s coming together. You don’t see many 66-67 Mopar tube-chassis cars. I’ll be watching this thread. Please keep us updated.

DVW projected weight is 2,700lbs. Thanks Mike, it’s a long slow process. LemonWedge yeah that’s why I’m doing it, not something you see very often. Hoping to have the frame done powder coated by end of next month. I will keep throwing photos up.

A few more pics still coming along slowly but getting the body fitted to the new cage.
