Though the new trailer is 46 ft vs 32 ft, 25 ft is living quarters. Going from 32 ft garage to 25 ft took some thought. Everything is on the right side where the car sets. That way you can walk down the left side if needed. The original location of the black cabinet was located above the inner fenders. No access with the car inside. There were sloppy peg boards hung with screws through the paneling. Some type of rubber cement all over the walls. Took everything down. Remounted the cabinet above the right entrance door. Was able to remove the glue, patch the holes in the walls and clean the paint with only minor touch up. None of the D rings were bolted in the floor, just setting in the holes. Of course they were located right above the vertical cross members. Had to grind D shaped holes in the crossmembers laying underneath the tralier in the snow. Mounted the spare setting on the trailer ramp used for flats. Killed 2 birds with one bolt. The jack had to be on a raised platform to gain LF D-ring access. Built risers for the tool box so the winch will fit underneath. The winch electrics are bolted to the tool box bottom. Cut the air compresseor frame apart. Welded brackets to mount the tanks to the tool box, The compressor itself is bolted to the floor next to the box. Mounts were made for the drop door fillers, hood holder, car spare, fender covers, tire covers, chairs, air tank, halogen lamp, air hoses, ballast weights, medical kit, broom, paper towel dispensor, weather station, and toe plates. Still to come oil jug rack on the right inner fender, propane tank mounts and plumbing, inverter & wiring, generator remote start, ladder for the upper berth, a silverware drawer, and additional cabinent door and shelves in the living quarters. It's been about 20 degrees here so a little space heat has made it tolerable.
