mancini racing strut rod which bushings?

Purchased a set and they sent the "improved design Moog" the sleeve will not slide on. I wonder if the old design bushing will work I measured length its 17.5 and the control arm end does slide in just trying to see what to do about bushing. I can take the metal sleeve out and the rubber goes on but has some play in it.

I had the same ones, Mancini told me not to use the sleeve. Another member posted about improper length of Mancini rods. Try and return them buy some adjustables from qa1, or pst.
