Hi All,

In the process fo building an almost all Mopar hot rod, mainly using parts from my coronet build, and I'm working on the steering plan at the moment.

I'm wondering, can I mount a manual Steering Box upside down? I will either run a manual B Body or a Vega box. How will the react to being upside down? I'm wondering if lubrication will be a problem?

Appreciate any thoughts!

It's lubed with grease so it shouldn't matter. But you could certainly find smaller, lighter steering boxes to put in a hotrod !! Sometimes you just have to let go of the Mopar phobia for the sake of practicality.

Yeah agreed, the Vega box is probably my preference, but I'm trying to find out if either will work with the pitman shaft pointing up first then work from there.
