Master Cylinder R&R Cost?

Had my ‘69 RR master cylinder replaced with one from Summit. Just looking to validate cost received for the work. Pleased with the results but just want transparency on amount of LABOR hours normally associated with this project. Thx.

About the max I would charge is 2 hrs if there was some issues bleeding etc.
That includes the whole system being flushed.

Direct bolt on I'd charge an hour if it was a direct swap power brake. An hour and a 1/2 on a manual brake.

Depends where you are at. Big Metro like SF dealers are pushing $200 hr. Down by Me in BFE NM Independents @ $75 per. When I was a dealer Tech and on Real Flat Rate I got 40% in 85 it was $22.50. Good $ back then. Then it went down down down like The Titanic.
