matching numbers question

I have a 69 RR convert the #s on the rad support are not the same as the #s on the vin, I knew it wasnt a matching car. Can the rad support #s tell anything or are they just sequence #s

69 cars should have the same numbers on support as vin

What is the trunk drip rail number? Does it match the core support? Does the VIN tag match the data tag? If just the core support number is off, it is possible that it (the core support) was replaced at some point in the car's past with a salvage piece.
