Yep, early. No back to back with Spring Fling. It’ll probably snow.

Not this year. A little early for those who drive, maybe snow on the Tehachapi. Also, the three host hotels is a big change up. I preferred the week following Spring Fling for weather and the Cannery on E Craig for Track convenience vs Strip traffic.

Actually, the Hotel plan doesn’t look too bad. West Coast Mountain Weather just too iffy in March for the drive, and I don’t go without my car.

Sooooooooooooo is anyone going? I'm staying at the new Motel 6 right across I-15 from the track.

Due to a wait for a hip replacement I can't make it this year. :mad:Only missed twice in 18 years.

Aliante is a good hotel, has a TGI Fridays inside along with the normal buffet and sandwich places. I have stayed there many times (not for the MATS) and would stay there again.

Have fun and take some pics please.

March is just too early for Vegas. Wonder who the competition is that sucked up the good April date.

Phil usually has to wait for NASCAR and NHRA to set their dates first. Then he gets a date.It also depends who is running LVMS and if they are your friend or not. Several times he has been told by the powers that be that they could care less about him doing the show. They only care about who brings in the most money. That is why he had to do multi manufactures. I'm surprised he has made it this long. The wife and I volunteered for 16 years. My health is keeping us away this year.

Is MATS still on, or has it been corona-cancelled?

Vegas seems to be bucking the trend... The Casinos aren't closing... Pretty sure those are groups of more than 50 people..... Maybe MATS will proceed..... But I wouldn't be surprised to see it cancelled too....

I would consider Vegas to be one of the most contagion -passing places around, but it's full of gamblers by definition. I have friends going in a couple weeks for a bowling tournament , I guess that hasn't been cancelled either.

Nevada needs casino money. No state sales tax, right?

just recieved an email from MGM vegas,,,as of tomorrow the 17th, they r closing there casino's until april 2nd,,,,cancelling all reservations, full refunds....

15 casinos are closing on the strip as of this morning.
