The Maltese cross means it has undersized bearings. Hard to decipher what's what with the rest of it nothing is really catching my eye. Looks like a lot of machine shop job stampings on there. I'm sure someone more familiar with max wedge motors will chime in.
 
....that date stamp is the assembly date when it was put together.... the cast date is cast into the side of the block. Not sure if the Julian calendar was used in 63.

Anyone know for sure?
