WTB Mirror Backing Plate

I need a mirror backing plate for my 66 Coronet. Been trying to figure out why the mirror I have just doesn't want to fit, and found out I'm missing the backing plate. I don't have a show car, so I don't need it to be NOS or restored, just needs to be functional. Thanks.

Never saw one on a 66. A Screw from the top and a bolt on the stud on the bottom with gasket.

I was afraid someone was going to say something like that. Reason being, is that the fender is drilled like a later 60's fender (best I can tell). It has a small hole at the front, a large hole in the middle, and a smaller hole at the rear. I think someone may have modified it for a later mirror, maybe? The hole on the inside of the door for the joystick looks rough, DIY possibly. I can always fab up a plate to set inside to cover the big hole where the stud passes through. Thanks for the heads up.

The larger holes are for a remote mirror. Small holes are for the mirror mounting screws.
